The Greek House Restaurant opened its doors in June 1993.  Christos Vassilopoulos, the chef and owner came from Vancouver with his wife and 2 young daughters.  This was a new venture for the young family, one, which turned into a happy success.

Since opening, they have made lots of renovations and improvements to reach the point of winning the "Top 3 in the Best Greek Restaurant" category in 1997 and 1998, and the "Top 3 Best Kept Secret" category in 1997.
